Skin Beauty Tips With Botanicals

The blue-black clusters of crowberries that grow across the Chugach mountain range of southern Alaska are being used as a key ingredient in expensive, antioxidant-packed wrinkle fighting creams. Skin beauty creams made with the essences of fireweed and Arctic sage are also gaining popularity, as Arctic plants are now becoming a trendy skin-care ingredient. Cosmetics makers in Finland, Iceland and Russia are already producing a broad range of items that utilize these botanical ingredients, and now one Alaska company, Arxotica, is planning to do the same thing in the US.
The new company plans to ship its first bottle of signaure crowberry-based serum, called Quyung-lii, and day now. Quyung-lii means "the potent one" in the native Alaskan language of Cup'ik. And the price will certainly be potent, as each bottle will retail for $300. Despite the high price, the company already has $10,000 worth of orders to fill, and another stack to send to beauty tip editors in New York.
